Yamaha R25 is the next sports bike in line from Yamaha’s factory. Cunning move by Yamaha, noticing the attraction of the crowd towards fully faired bikes. The R15, Yamaha’s 150cc segment sportsbike, a single cylinder 150cc Fuel Injected sports bike has received mixed reviews.
Yamaha has been gaining attention in MotoGP as well as has performed exceptionally well all these years. This bike was unveiled by Yamaha’s own MotoGP rider, Valentino Rossi.
The R25 just as its predecessor has dual headlamps along with a fairing which gives it a mean but edgy sporty look. The design have hints of the M1 been incorporated in some aspects of the design. The tachometers will be a combination of Analog and Digital ones. This sportsbike will be available in mostly 3 colors Red, Black and Blue.
The Yamaha R25’s heart, is the 2 cylinder 250cc liquid cooled Engine which churns 35.5bhp at 12,000 rpm thanks to its 8 valved DOHC fuel supply arrangement. With a new exhaust system in place, it evenly distributes the weight of the bike, the R25 will weigh around 166 Kgs which may be a lil higher compared to the KTM’s 390.
The seating arrangement is similar to the R15 let’s hope it not that high, the girls will complain less and guys will be a lil disappointed. For those who planning to buy a bike in the near future, you may want to wait for this one. Cause you surely won’t be let down with this.
