With viral response to the smartphone brand Xiaomi in India, it seems to have set a perfect line up of releases in the market to ensure that it remains on top of the wanted list of customers. This time it plans on releasing the redmi note.
- Brilliant Display
- Good Camera
- HD Display
- MIUI consumes RAM significantly
The MIUI smartphone is slightly on the heavier side as its made of plastic. Well you cannot compare with the LG G3 which has a similar screen size as it is made of lighter chassis and ofcourse costs over 4 times.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note runs on an octa core mediatek processor and coupled with an high end graphic processor, Mali GPU 405 which delivers smooth transition of graphics. The drawback maybe it’s 1 .7gigs of RAM, reason being that the MIUI has not been designed perfectly as of yet and consumes majority of the available RAM.
It is a dual sim smartphone which also has an memory card slot. The inbuilt 8GB of storage may not be sufficient if you an hardcore gamer. On a positive note this device is supposed to end up with a decent battery life as it has a battery pack of 3100mAh.
The redmi note boasts a 5.5 inch HD IPS Display with a resolution of 1280 by 720, which delivers crisp and sharp images. The phone is expected to have viewing angle of 178 degrees with not much saturation of colors at any point.
The Redmi Note has a 13 MP rear facing lens which captures good images. The plus point is that it can also capture 4128 x 3096 pixel resolution and also shoots video at 1080p @ 30 fps. The Xiaomi Smartphone has a rear LED flash but you cannot expect wonders during low light imaging.
The front facing camera is a 5 MP one which also generates in depth colored images. The plus side to the rear facing camera is it can capture 8 images per second which is pretty quick but on the down side it may lack an image stabilizer.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note is definitely a smartphone (or phablet to be precise) worth looking out for if you in a tight budget. Yes heating issues and the RAM consumption are possible drawbacks but these can be kept in check with future updates.
We will have to look out for the speakers once it’s out but so far on paper this device is definitely worth purchasing. You cannot ask more from the redmi note considering the price bracket at which it falls. This device may slide in your pockets easily as it’s hardly 9.45mm in thickness.
Redmi note is is expected to release in India @ 9,999 INR. But Xiaomi may further target the high end market with the announcement of the release of the Mi-4. You also might want to consider looking at other smartphones from this brand like the Xiaomi Mi-3 and the Xiaomi Redmi 1s.
