With their new three point focus strategy which is Drive Next, Connect Next and Design Next, Tata have launched a couple of cars into the market namely the Bolt and the Zest. But to further show the future scope of the 3 point strategy, they have incorporated this in a concept car, the Tata Nexon.
The Nexon is expected to have 1.2 Liter 3 cylinder engine that will be capable of delivering 110 PS of Power. A torque of 170 Nm and yet is able to provide an astonishing mileage of 17.6 kmpl.
An optional smart 4 wheel drive will also be available, which will have electric motors mounted on the rear wheels making it a hybrid vehicle. The car is expected to reach speeds of 180kmph on highways.
This is a mini SUV, which has interiors that will baffle your mind, Turquoise LED lighting in the interiors, with a eye pleasing blue color toned with grey on the exteriors which helps it distinctively stand out. It has a masculine look with 18 inch wheels which makes it look sturdy.
Unique headlamps design which has extracted the DLO (Day Light Opening) System, which was first revealed in the Tata Megapixel. With ground clearance of 200mm and a length of 4 meters this vehicle seems to be extremely roomy, plus the seats are light bucket ones making it even more spacy.
The vehicle, which was showcased in the Auto Expo 2014, had only 2 pedals which indicate that this vehicle will be an automatic one. To stand a chance with the competition, the Renault Duster and the Ford EcoSport, this vehicle needs to be categorized under the right price tag.
Well looking at the concept, the vehicle is a left hand drive, which makes this but obvious that this vehicle is expected to launch abroad first and then may be rolled into India.
